BARK IN THE PARK 2008, Sunday, 28 September, Ft. Toulouse, Wetumpka
What a great day! That easily sums up Bark
in the Park 2008! It was a gorgeous day with hundreds of people and their pets
and just a great time had by all. While Bark in the Park is a fund-raising
event for our shelter, it is also a celebration of the bond between all of us
animal lovers and our pets. There aren’t many venues where over 800 people and
likely 300-400 pets can come together for an afternoon of such fun. And to top
it off, five of our adoptable dogs found their new families that day!
It takes a lot of people to make an event of
this kind a success, and we thank each and every person who volunteered their
time to help us set up and execute such a great day.
We cannot thank
Ft. Toulouse
enough for letting us have our event at their wonderful location and hope we
left it as clean and nice as we found it.
