| Trey We want to thank Jackie Arnold of Independent Brittany
Rescue & Rehabilitation in Florida and Rebecca Harshman who introduced us to
Jackie for helping Trey find his perfect and forever home. We would call
this a win-win-win-win for everyone (Trey, shelter, Jackie & Trey’s new
family). Thanks so much to everyone who helped get Trey to his new home!!! |

Thought you two would like to see the first pictures of Trey in his new
home. He certainly got comfortable fast. :-) The other Britt is Junior.
They had adopted him from me about two years ago.

Hi: What did I do to deserve such a great dog? All I have to say is " stay
away from the cat" ( even though the cat is taunting him) and he just stops
and turns around. He is not interested in the pool, but the lily pond is
another matter. In a flash, he was up to his sholders among the water lilys.
Mark ( he's a urologist remember) checked his incision, and everything is
fine. I washed the seaweed off, and cleaned with hydrogen peroxide. Trey
comes immediately when you call, so after making sure the orange fencing was
secure, we let him off lead. For the most part, He stayed near Mark or me,
and when he did go to check behind a bush, a call and he was right there. We
will only do that in the day time for now. He seems to have a bit of an
allergy when he first goes out. He sneezes a couple of times, and then is
fine. He rolls in the grass with gusto. You told me about the stealing, and
he does love to grab and run, but when he is sure you won't chase him, he
comes back. Again, an easy bed time and great today. His bowels are the same
as at your place, but no accidents so far.Yea. Thanks again, I'll keep you
posted. Barb16 Aug ’07 email to Jackie.
Hi: All is well. Trey has a taste for remotes, but not too bad. There is a
shop right here in Cape Coral that sells his food, so I ran out to get it,
and didn't crate him. He has very good manners other then cats and the
remote. The old cat didn't mind being sniffed, but the young one doesn't
like it, and of course, thats the cat he wants to sniff. He was in the bed
for a few minutes and then right to his crate last night. No problems there.
He is going to the vet on Monday. |
