UPDATE DECEMBER 2005: SPECIAL HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!! HER FOSTER MOM HAS DECIDED TO MAKE SPECIAL A PERMANENT  MEMBER OF THE FAMILY!!

This pup was brought in to us by someone we know and she had found it dumped in front of her mailbox.  If only we could find the scum who did this to this pup!  She is only about nine weeks old and so far very sweet though scared to death.  She is covered in fleas and ate voraciously, but wasn’t skinny.  Such a shame!  One of the staff will fostering her until her ears heal. 

We are in need of donations for this as Dr. Bryson saw the pup and told
us to bring her to them. He has stitched her ears to help them heal. She had stayed at the vets for the night and will get pain meds, etc. We will keep you updated on her progress. If you would like to Sponsor or Donate towards her treatment please give the shelter a call at 334-567-3377.
